The kangaroos were great. We got bags of food, some sort of hay, and the kangaroos were very trusting and open to a treat. This one Roo and Sam had a good time. The roo followed Sam and made sure he was getting his fair share of food. He even went over Sam's back as he was feeding another!
Kait had a special affection for the mom with joeys in there pouches. There were several. What a fun experience this was!
This is a Tasmanian Devil. We are near the Island of Tasmania, which is part of Australia, that is where these little creatures are thought to be from originally. They are native to the Australian outback now though. They do sound quite evil when they are competing for food!
